Quinta da Boavista is one of the most iconic properties in the Douro Demarcated Region, recognized for its centuries-old connection to the Baron of Forrester. Its horizon, designed by hand-built terraces, leaves no one indifferent to a geometry marked by the Vinha do Oratório, made up of high and curved terraces that provide a unique terroir. The object has the mission of giving meaning to what it holds within itself: in addition to carrying the wine, it carries the centuries-old legacy of Quinta da Boavista, making it almost a reliquary where a piece of great value and historical context is preserved. The complexity of the Quinta da Boavista terroir and its forms should be represented in a markedly valuable box, capable of assuming a medium/high positioning.

The concept is based precisely on this premise, to connect the box with a historical past that must be preserved as if it were a treasure, perfect for embracing two universes and coexist between its sui generis layout and the magic of what is hidden in a reliquary. Thus, the design of the box seeks to convey what we feel with each visit to Vinha do Oratório: that we are being embraced by the shapes and the greatness of the terraces. This representation appears through drawers of different dimensions, as well as the hands that work and embrace Quinta da Boavista, each one with its uniqueness and always supported by a breathtaking environment.
